It's Autumn now, leaves are falling, turning browns and other colors apart from the luscious greens. It's beginning to get colder, the mornings filled with dew on the grass, warm in the afternoon and colder at night. Keep nice and warm, because it does get very cold!

Niki had dropped Micah off to school and she needed something to do. Dressed in a nice top and jeans, Niki wouldn't get too hot in the Nevada sun. The sun itself was high in the sky, its rays heating up the ground so it felt like you were walking on an oven if you were not wearing shoes. The sky was a clear blue with no clouds in sight, and the summer season would be hot, just like previous summers. As the heat shimmered from the ground, Niki began walking, glad that she was wearing something that would keep her cool. It would be a very hot day and she would probably take Micah out to the swimming pool, despite not having much money.
As the thought of money lingered on her mind, she began to think of her job as an internet stripper. She sighed softly, running her fingers through her blond colored hair before stopping outside a cafe. Looking in the window, her reflection showed. But the face had an evil looking smirk, before nodding once. Shaking her head, Niki hoped Jessica wouldn't come out, as this wasn't the first time she saw her reflection but it was different. It was if someone else was in the mirror that looked like her.
Pushing the door open, a small bell rang and Niki looked around. It was cream white with a few dark tables lining beside the window and some near the end of the cafe. A bench stood to her left and a kitchen could be seen behind it. A young woman was at the counter, serving customers and Niki walked up before speaking. "A turkey sandwich and a coffee thanks." The woman nodded and told her to take a seat and a plastic card reading the number 5.
Taking the card, Niki sat at a table at the end, placing the card on the table top and sitting back, closing her eyes briefly before reopening them and looking around the cafe. Her fingers grabbed her purse and she pulled out the money for the food and drink, waiting patiently for it to arrive.

Elle was sitting in the cafe, she had just ordered a coffee, and a bagel. She was happily munching on the bagel, and sipping on her coffee, just when she saw Niki Sanders come into sight. She pulled up the hood on her shirt. She was wearing a nice blue tank top, with tight jeans, and since she wasn't really planning on doing much here in Nevada, she was wearing running shoes. She decided that if she wanted to make a move and surprise Niki, this was her chance.
But she would much rather finish her breakfast, and follow her secretly, as she was good at spying. She had dispised of the girl, much less than she did Claire, but she still didn't like her. She was basicly goody two shoes, all heroey and what not. It made Elle sick, made her want to puke. As she grew angry out of nothing, a shot of electricity appeared in her hand under the table. She quickly put it out, not wanting to go face-to-face with Niki yet.
Elle stirred her coffee, as she munched on her bagel. She didn't think of how it was possible to do those two at the same time, but she did it anyway. She saw a yogurt parfait on the menu, and she longed to try it. She often liked to stuff her face. She walked up to the cashier. "Hi, I'd like to order one." She often didn't pay and just stole, but when it came to breakfast, this cafe had pretty good food for good prices.

Niki was starting to get a headache, it happened often to her, especially after being inside the building which exploded. Lucky for her, she was saved by an unknown hero and never got to say thanks, which was kinda bad, but she hoped she would get a chance. Leaning back, the hard back seat made her wince slightly, her muscles slightly sore from the constant being on the movie. Did she want to come back to Las Vegas? Not really, but there was things that needed to get done, stuff she couldn't put off any longer. Hence she bit her tongue and went back, Micah was happy since he got to see a few friends, and he went back to school which he liked. Rubbing her temples, Niki sighed ever so softly and looked around, getting a jolt in her stomach when she saw who else was there.
Elle, she had met her at the Company when she was trying to get rid of Jessica, and Elle had become an annoyance to her. Niki wasn't one to judge quickly, nor to hate quickly, but Elle had managed to do both, and snake her way into Niki's top ten list of people to watch out for. Really not wanting to get into a fight, Niki stayed sitting, but curiosity edged its way into her mind. Gritting her teeth, she stood, and headed over to Elle. "Did the Company let you go or did you escape yourself?" Some were not allowed out, and she wasn't trying to be mean. She heard Elle's father wanted her to stay and not cause any trouble. They had one thing in common, fathers who didn't really give a damn.
"I don't want to fight." Niki added which was the truth. She wasn't in the mood to fight, her head ached and she wanted to go in a nice dark place to stop her brain from trying to break out of her skull.

Elle licked the outline of her tooth. "How is that any of your business?" She snapped. Elle didn't want to fight either. She wasn't in the mood, not that she need to be in a mood to kill, she just didn't feel much like herself today. She didn't think much about her father, she thought about herself now, it made her feel better about herself.
"I don't want to fight either, but if you piss me off, well," She lit a small bolt of electricity in her hand where only Niki could see it. She blew on it, and it disappeared. "Whoo, magic." She giggled with hatred. "Still got that problem with the alter ego? Cuz, I figure, a smart girl like you could have found a way by now."
